  • No. You don’t need to have an idea before joining — you’ll develop your idea and project during the program.

  • No. You can apply individually. Teams will be formed during the incubator based on shared interests and project ideas.

  • Yes. This program is open to Russian undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students and early-career professionals from non-tech fields currently residing in Russia.

  • Yes. Participation in both the online incubator and the U.S. exchange is fully funded.

  • Unfortunately, no. BeyondSpace is designed specifically for non-technical participants, including students and early-career professionals. If your academic or professional background is primarily in engineering, programming, physics, mathematics, or other STEM fields, you are not eligible to apply. The program focuses on bringing non-technical perspectives — such as business, design, policy, communications, and the humanities, etc. — into the space and innovation ecosystem.

  • We select participants based on curiosity, motivation, openness to new ideas, and willingness to engage in cross-cultural collaboration. You do not need prior experience in space or startups to apply. We value diverse backgrounds, fresh perspectives, and a willingness to experiment. Our goal is to build a cohort that is enthusiastic, creative, and ready to learn together.

  • Yes. Participation in both the online incubator and the U.S. exchange is free.

  • Expect to spend around 3 hours per week on sessions and assignments during the online phase.

  • Yes. The organizers will provide full support with visa applications and travel preparation for selected finalists.

  • Yes. The finalists will travel as a group and will be accompanied by program organizers throughout the exchange in the United States. They will assist with logistics, scheduling, and any questions participants might have during the visit

  • All your travel and accommodation will be covered by the program. You will also receive a basic stipend to cover your daily expenses during the exchange program.

  • Complete the online application form and submit it by February 16 at 23:59 (Moscow time).

  • Selection results will be announced at the end of February 2026. Please check our social media pages and your email regularly — selected applicants will receive a confirmation along with next steps.

  • The BeyondSpace incubator begins in March 2026.

  • The incubator itself does not provide funding. However, participants will gain exposure to mentors, industry experts, and potential investors. We offer guidance on next steps and networking opportunities, but future investment is not guaranteed.
